The Company

​

This startup company is pre/early revenue. The founder and her team have been working on the platform for over 5 years with a dedicated team of approximately 10 software developers, engineers and marketers. The founder has 25 years of marketing, analytics, strategy experience from companies such as GE Capital, Qualcomm, Reader’s Digest and MasterCard, and played a pioneering role in the analytics outsourcing industry. The company has its headquarters in the New York City Metro area and a development hub in India. The company is preparing to scale up and expanding its leadership team.

 

The Platform

The platform offers a unique full suite of marketing technologies including website building, ecommerce, surveys, email marketing, campaign management, lead generation, CRM, performance analytics and data management. Additionally, the platform integrates with community focused marketplaces. Currently three branded marketplaces are ready for exploitation. They focus on recruitment with jobs, target audience focused publishing and a local or domain specific commerce marketplace.

The Business Leaders

​

The startup is currently recruiting three business leaders, one for each marketplace. Each business leader will receive the tools and resources of the platform and its marketplace to facilitate revenue generation.

The business leaders will work independently, with minimum oversight from the company management, within the strategic operating framework of the company. However, since the platform’s differentiator is integration and easy of use, it is expected that business leaders collaborate to capitalize on the synergies between the marketplaces.

To be successful in this role candidates are:

  • Digital marketing experts, highly experienced in building online communities.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit

  • Take initiative, lead their own business, within a team and a larger group

  • Creative and open minded, ready to explore new ways of doing things

  • Conceptually very strong, extremely focused on customer value

  • Extreme integrity, professionalism and passionate

  • Not averse to risk

  • May have experience in recruitment, publishing and commerce and associated business models in advertising and recruitment.

 

Compensation

​

As a pre-revenue startup they will be providing candidates with the tools to build a business and income. As such the role of business manager is likely more suitable for people with substantial career experience and are looking to master their own future.

​

The company offers a generous commission-based income, combined with a pathway to employment with equity.  These roles are ideal for current Marketing leaders who are willing to work on these roles as a side-hustle, and as a pathway to future employment at a senior level and with a stake in the organization’s future.
